However, the adhesive on the lightstrips seems to be a recurring issue, with some users experiencing difficulties in getting them to stick properly. This can be resolved by using alternative adhesives such as Gorilla tape or Sellotape Sticky Fixers. Despite the adhesive issue, the Philips Hue Lightstrip Extension is still a great addition to any smart lighting setup. It seamlessly integrates into existing Hue setups and provides a whole new feel to any space. It's important to note that the V4 version is not compatible with V3 lightstrips, and the connection between each strip is much thinner. Overall, the Philips Hue Lightstrip Extension v4 is a good product at a reasonable price, however, the adhesive issue and the need for additional adhesives can be frustrating for some users.
