  • The reed arrangement of the Trochilus/game changer richter/blues tuning harmonica key of C is the same as that of a traditional blues harmonica. There are no valves but this does not affect the air tightness. Therefore, the Trochilus can retain the timbre of a ten-hole harmonica largely and can bend like it does.
  • When the slider isn't pressed, it's a traditional blues tuning. When the slider is pressed, the whole harmonica is raised by a semitone. At this time the vocal range is three octaves.
  • JDR 4-pack of harmonica case is designed specifically for the JDR Trochilus harmonica/Game changer harmonica, but will also work with blues harmonicas. Please note that it will not fit chromatic harmonicas.
