The Fly Racing FR5 boots are an affordable option for an entry-level moto boot with decent quality and features. The boot provides good protection and comfort, however, there are some Cons to the product that may make some customers hesitant to purchase. Straps are prone to breaking and the quality is poor, as some customers had experienced the stitching and ratchet straps coming loose after just a few uses. The boots also may not be durable enough for some users, as they tore above the heel cup in less than 14 months for one customer. One reviewer suggested spending an extra $100 and getting a pair of Tech 7's as they are twice the boot for not much more money and have no break-in time.
