- For professionals seeking a high-performance studio camera, the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is a game-changer. This advanced camera is equipped with a larger 6K Super 35 sensor and an EF lens mount, delivering cinematic-quality images in live production settings. The built-in ND filters allow you to control the amount of light entering the camera, making it versatile for a variety of lighting conditions, including bright sunlight. The camera also features built-in streaming capabilities, allowing you to broadcast directly to the internet. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is equipped with 12G-SDI, HDMI, and 10G Ethernet, enabling all connections on a single cable for a cost-effective SMPTE style workflow. This camera is a self-contained live production powerhouse, offering the same features as large studio cameras in a compact and portable design. With digital film camera dynamic range and color science, this camera can handle challenging lighting conditions while producing cinematic-looking images. The sensor features an ISO up to 25,600, enabling you to capture stunning images even in dimly lit venues. The camera is packed with advanced features such as talkback, tally, camera control, built-in color corrector, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB disks, live streaming, and more. You can even add a focus and zoom demand for lens control. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is not limited to live production. It records Blackmagic RAW to USB disks, making it versatile for any situation where a tripod is used. The large 7 viewfinder makes it ideal for chat shows, television production, broadcast news, sports, education, conference presentations, and even weddings. The camera's lightweight design, large bright display with side handles, touch screen, and physical controls make it easy to track shots and comfortable to use for extended periods. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro features a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate body with innovative technology in a miniaturized design. It's designed for live production, making it easy to track and frame shots with its large 7 viewfinder. The camera's exceptional low light performance, with gain from -12dB (100 ISO) up to +36dB (25,600 ISO), optimizes to reduce grain and noise in images while maintaining the full dynamic range of the sensor. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro supports 23.98 to 60 fps and is compatible with a wide range of affordable photographic lenses. The active lens mount allows you to adjust the lens remotely, eliminating the need to reach around to adjust the lens manually. The large 7 high-resolution screen makes framing shots easier. The Pro models feature an HDR display with extremely high brightness, perfect for outdoor use in sunlight. The touchscreen includes menus and you can load and customize presets for different jobs. The camera features physical buttons and knobs as well as controls on the touchscreen. The 3 function buttons on the left can have functions assigned to them, such as zebra, false color, focus peaking, LUTs, and more. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro features a large tally light that illuminates red for on air, green for preview, and orange for ISO recording. The camera supports the SDI tally standard used on all ATEM live production switchers and the HDMI tally used on ATEM Mini switchers. The camera's SDI connections include talkback, allowing the switcher operator to communicate with cameras during live events. The camera also features a variety of connections for connecting to both consumer and broadcast equipment, including HDMI with tally, camera control and record trigger, headphone and mic connections, and 2 USB-C expansion ports. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro can be connected in various ways, including HDMI for HDMI switchers such as ATEM Mini, 12G-SDI for SDI based switchers such as the ATEM Constellation, or 10G Ethernet for camera video, program return, tally, talkback, camera control, and even power using a regular Cat6A Ethernet cable. In summary, the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is a versatile, high-performance camera designed for professionals seeking superior image quality and functionality in live production settings.
