MXR Pitch & Octave M225 Editorial Review
MXR Sub Machine Octave Fuzz is a uniquely versatile pedal that delivers powerful sound features including Fuzz, Sub Octave, and Octave Up effects. Musicians appreciate the range of controls like Fuzz and Tone knobs, allowing for personalized sound shaping to create that thick, rich octave fuzz. Users have highlighted its ability to achieve impressive low-end tones and fun variations, especially when combining fuzz with octave settings, reminiscent of classic pedals like the Foxx Tone Machine. This pedal fits snugly on pedalboards, making it a practical choice for gigging musicians. Some users noted that getting in tune is crucial for maximizing its tone potential and avoiding dissonance, which adds to its character and charm.
