The Outback Flexmax 60 Charge Controller is a versatile, programmable charge controller with the capacity to support 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, and 60V DC nominal battery systems with open circuit input voltages reaching up to 150V DC. It features a cooling fan that can be loud during use, but it turns off after a few minutes. The charge controller auto-detects battery voltage and has user-adjustable settings to enable charging of different battery types, including lifepo4 batteries. With proper programming per battery type and efficient oversized heat sink cooling, this device can support up to 60 amps of output. An Outback hub is required to enable networked system monitoring of multiple Flexmax 60 controllers. Overall, the customer feedback for the device is positive.
